Reiki Level 1 Workshop

Time: 10 am to 3 pm

 

This is a 2 day workshop. The workshop runs from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm for both days. Please ensure that you are able to attend both days.

Reiki 1 is a foundational course for activating the flow of Reiki in your hands. The experiential workshop incorporates exercises, practices and sharing of techniques. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to use Reiki to support your own healing and that of your loved ones.

 

What is Reiki?

Each one of us is composed of vital energy. It is believed that a lack of vital energy can manifest in diseases or depression. Reiki balances your energy centres (chakras) to support your body's movement towards health and happiness. It has been purported to be useful in the treatment of anxiety, depression, pain and fatigues.

 

The word "Reiki" means universal life force energy - sometimes called "chi" or "prana". Reiki is a Japanese energy healing modality which stimulates the body's ability to heal naturally. Your body knows how to heal naturally. Reiki merely helps your body to remember how to do so in the same fashion that acupuncture awakens the body's natural healing ability. 

 

The practitioner is a conduit who facilitates the session. A practitioner receives energy from the Universe and channels it to the client. When I learnt Reiki, I received an attunement from my master - which allows me to tune into the frequency of love. The first attunement that I received was of the Usui Reiki lineage by Misao Usui. Over time, other forms of Reiki have been channelled and there are other frequencies I have been attuned to. Think of me as a radio which can dial into the frequency that I am attuned to. 

 

What can you expect to learn?

Once you are attuned to Reiki, you will have the flow of Reiki in your hands. There are no prerequisites in terms of religious or spiritual beliefs. 

 

During the workshop, you will be able to practise giving and receiving Reiki treatments. You will also balance and cleanse your Chakras using Reiki.

– Introduction of Chakras and their functions

– Techniques to balance the chakras

– 4 Reiki Attunements

– Full body healing treatment

– Intuitive Healing treatment

– Giving a Reiki treatment

– Giving a Reiki treatment to animal and plants

– First aid treatment

– Grounding and cleansing techniques

 

Please wear comfortable cotton clothing.

 

The workshop Fee is $475 and inclusive of Reiki Manual and Certification.
